About Us
Legacy Health Center
After years of nursing experience and her own medical issues, Lynda Avery Harrison pursued her lifelong dream and founded Legacy Health Center in 2014. She finished her Bachelor's Degree in 1991 and Master's Degree in 1997. She has been a nurse for 32 years and 26 years of that has been as a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner.
Legacy Health Center is a non-traditional health consulting, integrative medical practice. We focus on helping our patients to achieve balanced optimal health by addressing body, mind, and spiritual health issues. We believe our environment and lifestyles greatly affect our well-being and we strive to educate patients and the general public on ways to improve their health.
Our primary role is to raise awareness, especially among Mississippians (given the plight of our general health as a state), that traditional western medicine is not always the best or only way to achieve health.
